Bombtekniker på väg till Borlänge

Enligt polisen ska flera personer ha förts till sjukhus efter att ha andats in rök efter explosionen.

- Explosionen har skett inne i byggnaden, berättar Bo Eriksson på polisens länskommunikationscentral.

Lokalen, som är en central för sortering av post, har nu utrymts.

- Enligt de första uppgifterna därifrån ska ingen vara skadad men det blev rökutveckling, säger Bo Eriksson som är pressinformatör på polisens länskommunikationscentral.

Sex personer skall ha varit i nära anslutning till explosionen och skall ha fått någon typ av pulver på sig vid explosionen.

Lokalerna skall sökas av med bombhundar och en bombgrupp från Stockholm är på väg.

Fragment av paketet finns kvar och en teknisk undersökning har inletts, uppger Dalapolisen.

- Vi vet att det har smällt, men inte vad, säger Dalapolisens talesman Sven-Åke Petters.

- Framför allt vill vi säkerställa att vi kan undersöka paketet utan att det smäller igen.

27 personer fanns i huset när paketet exploderade. Polisen hör alla vittnen och platsen är tills vidare avspärrad.

Såvitt polisen vet har det inte framförts några hot före explosionen.

Ett antal personer har på eget bevåg sökt läkarvård efter att ha inandats rök, men ingen har förts till sjukhus.
